Rush Ranch Nature Center Grand Opening      (Outdoor Fun)
The Rush Ranch Nature Center Grand Opening is now open at Rush Ranch in Suisun City. The Nature Center includes a multi-purpose room, a science lab, offices, field steward residence, and guest quarters. The center is powered principally by solar and wind energy. The 2,070-acre Rush Ranch was acquired by the Trust in 1986 and is home to rare and endangered plant and animal species. It is the largest brackish water marsh in the United States. In addition to the new Nature Center, the property has numerous historical buildings, including a barn, blacksmith house, water tower, and a circa 1930 Sears & Roebuck kit house. Rush Ranch is located at 3521 Grizzly Island Road, about two miles outside Suisun City. For more information, call (707) 432-0150 ext. 205
